Lingual Braces (such as from Incognito™) are placed behind your teeth, and are therefore virtually invisible to other people. Incognito™ braces are made of gold, but they are bonded to the surface of the teeth facing the inside of the mouth, so they are concealed and almost invisible to the observer. They are suitable only in specific orthodontic cases.
Lingual Braces can irritate the tongue and for a few weeks may have a slight impact on the patient's speech and eating. This will vary with each patient's dental arch and tongue position. Lingual appliances are more expensive than conventional braces, because they are specifically made to each patient's teeth, requiring special instruments, and special orthodontist accreditation and staff training.
This treatment can sometimes take a little longer than traditional braces however the result of using these technologies, the Incognito™ Lingual Bracket System, is a highly precise and 100% customized set of braces designed for high patient comfort and optimal results. Incognito™ is more comfortable than other types of lingual appliances as it is custom made from gold and care is taken to make it as smooth as possible.Contact us
The contours of the back of our teeth are different on the every tooth, therefore each bracket will be individually designed to fit perfectly to the back of your tooth.
